The Known Trilogy follows the perspectives of both Michael and Issie in a dystopian world. Issie loves the Second Protego for its rules and stability, but Michael despises the government because it hunts his kind. Michael is a miraculum fated to free his people from the Second Protego, but Issie’s responsibility is to preserve it. With his telepathic and psychokinetic powers, Michael manages to stir up quite a bit of trouble for Issie’s beloved government.
